Milan will be looking to register their second home win of the 2024-24 campaign when they play host to Lecce on Friday evening.

Paulo Fonseca's men were criticised following a humiliating 3-1 home defeat to Liverpool in the Champions League, but they couldn't have responded better than by beating noisy neighbours and reigning champions Inter Milan last weekend. The hosts have now picked up two wins from five league games and have been on the receiving end of a defeat just once this season in Serie A.

The Lecce faithful didn't also have much good to say about their team either after the first two league games of the season. The visitors went down to defeat in each of their first two outings, conceding a total of six goals against Atalanta and Inter Milan without responding. Luca Gotti's side have since improved enormously, with the Giallorossi unbeaten in their last three league games and will be keen on taking at least a point from Milan this week.

AC Milan vs Lecce Betting Tips: Both teams to score

Milan are yet to impress defensively this season. The Rossoneri shipped exactly two goals in each of their first three games of the season and will also enter Friday’s game with a run of two consecutive games without a clean sheet. Bets on ‘’btts – yes’’ have been lost in just one of their six games this season.

Lecce have found the back of the net in only two of their five league games so far this season, but Giallorossi have a good goal scoring record against Milan. The visitors boast averagely a goal per game from the last six meetings between these two sides and I think they are unlikely to leave Friday’s game without scoring at least once.

  • Best Tip: BTTS - Yes
  • AC Milan vs Lecce prediction: 2-2
