20Bet bonuses

9 / 10

We start our 20Bet sportsbook review by taking a look at the bonuses and promotions that are up for grabs. We know how much these mean to our readers so let's jump in now and take a look:

20Bet sign up bonus

When you make your first deposit at 20Bet, you can claim a 100% match up to $150. To trigger this bonus offer, your first deposit needs to be at least $15. Bonus funds are to be used on multibets that have at least 2 selections. There are 5x wagering requirements and these need to be met within 7 days. There's no need to enter a promo code to claim.

We feel that the 20Bet welcome bonus is great for Canadian punters, however, before claiming we recommend that you head to the terms and conditions and check the bonus rules. These will let you know if there are any other restrictions that impact how the funds can be used.

Ongoing 20Bet rewards

While the first deposit bonus is attractive, we like to see that there's plenty going on for existing customers too. We were pleased with how much 20Bet had going on. Let's take a look:

  • Forecast: You're eligible for this if you've deposited at least $30 in the last 5 days. When taking part, you have the chance to predict the outcome of 10 events. Get 10 correct and receive $1,500 in free bets. Get 9 and it's $150 while matching 8 sees you being rewarded with $80.
  • Saturday reload: Bet at least $30 every day between Monday and Friday then make a qualifying deposit of at least $15 on Saturday. You can then claim a 100% matched free bet up to a maximum of $150. You don't usually need bonus codes at 20Bet, but for this offer you need to enter SRB.
  • Weekly forecast: If you've bet at least $150 over the last 5 days you can take part. Predict the outcome of all 15 events and receive $35,000. 14 matches equals $3,500, 13 equals $150, and 12 equals $30.
  • Odds boost: Make an acca with at least 3 selections to be eligible. If 3 winning selections win odds are boosted by 1.05%. The boost builds the more winning selections you have. Reach 20 and the boost is 100%.
  • Bettors tournament: The more bets you place, the more points you win. Challenge others on the leaderboard. Come top at win up to $10,500 of free bets.

The 20Bet bookmaker does a fantastic job when it comes to the bonuses on offer. While the welcome bonus is great, for me it's the ongoing offers that matter. In particular, the Saturday reload really stands out.

20Bet sports VIP program

There are separate VIP programs for the casino and sportsbook. The sports one works by rewarding you with comp points. The more you bet, the more points you receive and you move up the levels. There are 6 of these to work through. At the end of each month your comp points can be exchanged for free bets. The maximum reward is $7,500 of free bets.

Licensing and security at 20Bet

9 / 10

We're confident in saying that the 20Bet betting site is safe and secure to use. There is a SSL certificate in place and this means that there are levels of encryption that protect your financial information whenever you make a transaction. Your personal details are also safe from prying eyes.

As well as this, 20Bet is licensed by Curacao under number 8048/JAZ2017-067. There's also a Kahnawake license under number 00882. These licenses both signal that 20Bet is legit and that it takes active steps to keep you safe.

The 20Bet user experience

9 / 10

20Bet offers a great user experience. The only slight complaint here is that the signing up process seemed a little drawn out. Having visited sportsbooks with one-click registration, we weren't fans of the 3 stages to complete here. That being said, each stage was simple and we still managed to have an account up and running in a matter of minutes. Once we had our account, we made a deposit with ease and had our first bet placed in no time at all.

This is a site that will appeal to both newbies and experienced punters. The ease of use is a plus point for everyone.

Navigating the 20Bet sportsbook

We had no problem at all when it came to finding our way around the 20Bet site. The header has a menu that allows you to move between the sports section, live betting, and the casino. However, the one thing that seems to be missing is a direct link to esports. These are simply contained in the list of traditional ones.

There's a list of sports on the lefthand side of the site. We'd have liked to have seen this in alphabetical order to make it easier to locate our sports of choice, but the search function helped with this. The footer contains useful links to things such as terms and conditions and details of the operator.

Overall design

The site has a clean and crisp design. There's touch of simplicity here and we like this. The majority of the background is white and this means that the black text is easy to read. Beyond the look, we were impressed with the 20Bet features. We found that there were the likes of live streams, a bet builder, and cashout options. We also liked the copy bet feature where you can see what other punters are wagering on and place the bet yourself.

  • Esports missing from menu

The 20Bet mobile app

10 / 10

Many of the 20Bet reviews that we've seen say that there's no 20Bet app. This is something that has changed and we're pleased to say that there's one for both Android and iOS devices. You can click on the button that says 'mobile app' and then you're taken to a page where you can scan a QR code. This takes you to the relevant app store. We found that the app was easy to use, but there was a little bit of lagging when using our iOS device. The good news is that all of the features found on the desktop site were also included on the app.

If you'd prefer not to download an app, you can still access the site via your mobile browser.

Payment methods at 20Bet

9 / 10

Now it's time to take a look at the deposit and withdraw methods that can be used at 20Bet. We're pleased to say that 20Bet does well here with a range of trusted options to choose from. Let's take a look:

20Bet deposit options

There's no shortage of options when it comes to making a deposit here. In addition to various cryptocurrencies, there were 12 other methods. These include Visa, Neteller, Skrill, Perfect Money, and Interac. Depositing with any e-wallet should see funds hit your account in an instant. If you use crypto or a debit card, 20Bet states that this can take up to 24 hours. The good news is that there are no fees for any of these methods.

  • Minimum deposit: $/€ 10
  • Maximum deposit: depends on your payment method

20Bet withdrawal options

When you're ready to withdraw money from 20Bet, you're again presented with a range of options. The time that withdrawals take will depend on the method that you choose. E-wallets see funds reach you within 12 hours. Crypto can take up to 24 hours. Debit cards take the longest, where you could be waiting up to 7 days.

20Bet customer support

8 / 10

If you ever need to get in touch with 20Bet, you can choose between email and live chat. However, before you do this, we'd recommend that you head over to the FAQs section. This is fairly comprehensive and there's a very good chance that you'll find any information that you need here. If you do need to reach out, we found that the experience is a positive one.

We decided to get in touch via the live chat function. We sent a query relating to payment methods and also queried the acca odds boost. It took just over a minute for us to be connected with an agent. We were impressed with how knowledgeable the agent was and it was good that the responses were quick. It took us around 5 minutes to get the answers that we needed.

If you decide to send them an email query, you should have a response within 24 hours. For that reason, we wouldn't recommend email if you need urgent help.

Sports betting at 20Bet

9 / 10

We found that there were thousands of sports events to bet on at this site. As you read on, we're going to share the sports that are covered, the odds on offer, as well as the range of markets. In fact, we'll be sharing all of the information you need before you place your first bet.

Range of sports

There are more than 30 sports to wager on at 20Bet. As you'd expect, popular sports are covered here such as football, American football, cricket, and basketball. There were also more niche sports here such as Gaelic football and kabaddi. What was missing thought was the opportunity to bet on the likes of TV shows and politics. We have seen these options at many other sportsbooks.

Something really good about sports at 20Bet is the fact there's coverage of both major and minor leagues. Take football as an example where you can bet on the likes of the Champions League and the EPL. The flip side are the betting opportunities on the likes of the Iranian league and amateur football in Germany.

Odds at 20Bet

When it comes to 20Bet and odds, we were pleased with what we saw. Looking across all sports, we saw that the average margins came in at 7%. For us, anything under 8% is a positive. As you'd expect, there's variation across the sports. Some of the highlights were baseball, coming in at 5.9%, and basketball, coming in at 6.2%. We thought that the 6.4% margins on football were also pretty good.

The live betting experience

We're big fans of the in-play betting opportunities here. As we logged in, there were around 200 events taking place. The betting options on offer were across a range of sports. Just some of these include:

  • Football
  • Basketball
  • Ice hockey
  • Baseball
  • Volleyball
  • Cricket

While the range of sports matters, what enhanced this experience was the fact that there were both live streams and cashout options.

Betting limits

As we delved into the terms and conditions of this sportsbook we found that the minimum wager that you can place is $0.30. As we checked, we couldn't find that there were any upper limits. When we enquired about this, we were told that upper limits vary depending on the event and markets being bet on.

There were limits in place in terms of how much you can win. No single bet will payout more than $150,000. You're also barred from winning more than $376,400 per day and $752,000 per week.

20Bet betting markets

We can't fault 20Bet when it comes to the markets on offer. We've found other operators where it's a mixed bag with some sports having plenty of markets while others were restricted. That wasn't the case here. Looking across the sports, we found great variety at all of them, even with the likes of volleyball and darts. Of course, we found the most popular ones such as outrights, over/under, and money lines but we also found:

  • Handicaps
  • Number of sets
  • Both teams to score
  • Number of yellow cards
  • Number of corners first half
  • Who will win the toss

Deposit limits

The amount that you can deposit will depend on the payment method that you choose. The good news is that the minimum amount is low at just $10. If you look across the methods on offer, you'll find that you can deposit as much as $6,000 at a time. This should be plenty for most punters.

Esports betting

As well as being able to place sports bets, 20Bet also allows you to wager on esports. This is an area that has exploded in popularity so let's take a look at how well this operator does here:

Range of esports

We were impressed with what we saw here. As well as a range of virtual sports to bet on, we found the following esports titles:

  • League of Legends
  • Counter-Strike
  • Dota
  • King of Glory
  • Arena of Valor
  • Valorant

There were a couple of notable omissions here. Namely Rainbow 6 and Call of Duty.

Esports odds and margins

20Bet is certainly competitive when it comes to odds on esports. We found that the average margins were just 5.4%. This was driven down by the margins on League of Legends which were just 5.1%. The contrasts to Valorant where these were 6.9%. Even this is still extremely attractive though.

Live betting on esports

The in-play section isn't the busiest we've seen. However, there was still plenty going on to keep esports fans entertained. Some of the events we saw included Challengers Ascension Pacific in Dota, RES Regional Series in Arena of Valour, and Worlds in League of Legends. What made up for the comparable lack of events was made up for by the fact the ones present were all live streamed. This made the experience so much more enjoyable.

Esports markets

There's a fantastic range of markets in the esports section. This is great news for fans as it means that there are numerous ways to win. The more markets there are, the more enjoyable the experience becomes. Just some of the markets we saw included:

  • Number of kills
  • Map handicap
  • Winner
  • Map to finish in daylight
  • First kill

The 20Bet online casino

9 / 10

Like many other bookies now, 20Bet offers sports betting and casino options. This one comes with a great welcome bonus that includes 120 free spins. Let's take a look at what else it offers:

20Bet casino game providers

When it comes to online gambling, casinos need great game providers so that they can offer a first-class experience. We're pleased to say that 20Bet only works with industry leaders. This means that you can find slot games and others from the likes of Wazdan, TrueLab, Hacksaw Gaming, Yggdrasil, and Playtech.

Casino games

The range of games matters to users as there needs to be enough to keep players entertained. The first thing to say is that 20Bet doesn't offer any table games. This is a little disappointing but, as we'll see, it makes up for this with live dealer games. Where 20Bet thrives is when it comes to slots. There are thousands of these to choose from. Just some of the titles we saw include:

  • Gates of Olympus 1000
  • Sugar Rush
  • Rich Piggies
  • Big Bass Day at the Races

Alongside these, there was good selection of virtual sports and crash games to enjoy.

20Bet live casino

The live dealer section was certainly impressive. We found that there were hundred of tables to play at. There were vast numbers of variants of blackjack, roulette, and baccarat. There was also a good showing of poker titles. We enjoyed our time trying the less traditional games like Lightning Storm and Gonzo's Treasure Map. When it comes to the quality of the games, these are all amazing. That's down to the fact that they come from providers such as Pragmatic Play, Playtech, and Skywind.

Live dealer bet limits

What we like about the live casino at 20Bet is the fact that it caters for players of all budgets. There are versions of roulette where you can play with wagers as low as $0.10. If you're looking for the excitement of being a high roller, you just need to head over to the VIP tables. There you'll find limits that reach $25,000.

Final thoughts on 20Bet

8.81 / 10

That brings us to the end of our comprehensive review. All in all, we have to say that 20Bet offers one of the best betting experiences around. The welcome bonus was certainly attractive and we were even more impressed when we saw the number of ongoing offers. The Saturday reload bonus really stood out.

With more than 30 sports to choose from, there's something for all. We would have liked to see a few more esports being added, but then majority of the major titles are there. Across sports and esports, we're more than happy with the odds and the potential to get a decent return.

Would we recommend that you join 20Bet? Well, if you're looking for an enjoyable, and profitable, experience, the answer has to be yes.
